At Young Minds Development Academy, we follow the Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive, state-approved program built on the belief that learning happens best when children are genuinely engaged and supported in their development. Our curriculum is organized around children's natural curiosity and shaped by careful observation of each child's individual progress.
In our program, children are:

The Creative Curriculum Approach
The Creative Curriculum is built on the understanding that children are active learners. It gives our educators a strong framework to plan intentional, developmentally appropriate experiences across key learning areas, including literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and technology.
When paired with the Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment tool, our educators can observe and document each child's growth, identify next steps, and ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Our Curriculum in Practice
Our educators observe children closely, paying careful attention to their unique interests and the way their development unfolds. From these observations, they plan purposeful activities and experiences that support each child's growth in a meaningful way.
We believe children thrive when they feel seen, supported, and given room to take the lead. Our educators are partners in learning, not simply instructors. They facilitate, encourage, and stretch each child's thinking while honoring where that child is right now.
